The American Board of Global Health (ABGH) is an independent, multidisciplinary certifying body committed to advancing the field of global health through rigorous board certification. As a specialty board under the Global Health & Quality Alliance (GHQA), ABGH offers the Certified in Global Health (CGH) credential for physicians, public health professionals, and leaders driving change in international health systems, health equity, emergency response, and policy innovation.

Unlike short courses or issue-specific certificates, ABGH certification reflects board-level rigor, ethical accountability, and global alignment with frameworks from WHO, CDC, and other international health authorities.
